Welcome to the HLS Democrats Alumni home page! This page includes information about the alumni network's goals, the HLS Democrats Alumni steering committee, how you can get involved, and alumni elected officials.

Our goals:

1. Put the resources, connections, and experiences of the Alumni community within a "click of the mouse."



2. Start a conversation about the direction in which the Democratic Party should go and the role that HLS alumni can play.



3. Help HLS alumni who are running for elected office or are working for candidates.



4. Provide the HLS Democrats with an interesting array of speakers and events.



5. Grow the HLS Democratic Alumni community.

How can you help?

• Join our steering committee:
• Being a steering committee member requires very little time and offers you an opportunity to shape the Alumni Network to meet your needs.
• Be a class captain:
• Help us identify Democrats from your class who might be interested in joining the Network.
• Be a regional captain:
• Let us know about what's going on politically in your community and help us identify Democratic alumni in your town or city.
• Be a blogger:
• Hop on our blog a couple of times a month and post your thoughts about 2008, the new Congress, local races, what you're doing locally, or anything else that interests you. A great way to get your ideas published! Simply e-mail your post to Jon Berkon.
• Recommend alumni spotlights for newletter:
• We will include "spotlights" about our alumni in each newsletter. Whether it is an up-and-coming politician, a top adviser, a community leader, or YOU, we want to hear about it.
• Be a speaker on a panel in Cambridge:
• We've had fantastic panels over the past couple years and we'd love to have you speak to us if you're in the area.
• Meet with HLS Dems on our annual DC trip:
• Each Feb/March, HLS Dems travel to DC to meet with politicians, government officials, and aides, many of which are alumni. We're always looking for new speakers and we'd love to meet with you.
